Ruthie, is full of type and substance, is also balanced with beautiful movement. Ruthie was a 6-9 puppy class winner at the Miami Valley Labrador Retriever Speciality in a class of 42. At 19 month's, she was went best adult at the Greater Atlanta Labrador Retriever sanctioned match in March of 1999.In the Fall 1999 GALRC, she won the open yellow class. Ruthie, with Anthony Cantor and Amy Walker dominated the Florida Panhandle Curcuit in the Spring of 2000. From the first show on Feb. 25th through March 3rd 2000, she has had 7 Winners, 5 Best of Winner's, and one Best of Breed. Of the 8 shows she was shown in, she has taken points in 7. The next week-end, she took her first major under Paula Nykiel, a four pointer. Ruthie came home and had her first litter which gave us her two wonderful girls, Millie and Pearl. On January 5th, again with Anthony, in her 1st show back in Deland Florida, she finished her championship with her last major, again a 4 pointer. In 16 All Breed shows, she took points in 10 of them.
Ruthie is the mom to three Champions, one our own Ch Little River Prosperity Promise, then her litter mate, Ch Little River Ophir's Calvin, the 2002 Eukanuba Invitational Championship Dog Show Breed Winner. Calvin ended the year 2002 as the 14th top rated Labrador in the USA.Then Can Ch Little River Typhoon, the Winners Dog and Best of Winners at the Labrador Retriever Club of Quebec 2003 Labrador Specialty. Ruthie now lives with Lamar and Judy keeping the roads hot in their RV.
